Wells Fargo & Company Used Express Frank for 50 Pounds Freight

Description

A used Wells Fargo Express Frank good for 50 Lbs of freight.
It is engraved and includes the name of the president of Wells Fargo, Dudley Evans.  The internet dates Evans' tenure from 1902 to 1910 so the red 1904 is probably the year of use.
It seems to have been printed in a strip and removed from others by folding then tearing on the left and right margins.
It is cancelled by crayon.  The date in blue crayon appears to be 9/5/4 implying 1904.
The frank is printed on a high quality postage stamp type paper.
It has a light pink stain on the left margin like it was soaked in water with some carmine stamps of the early 20th century and has a light diagonal crease through the middle left to right.
This is not exactly a philatelic item, but could add interest to a philatelic collection.
